Barbee Farms (part of T & A Barbee Family Farm, LLC) was formed in 2008. The family has deep roots in agriculture. Barbee Farms is honored to be a North Carolina Century Farm for continuous farming of more than 100 years. Brent, family member and farm manager, is a sixth generation farmer on this farm. We graduated from a small table at the market to multiple weekly farmers’ markets, a farm stand, restaurant and grocery store business, and participation in multi-farm CSAs plus one exclusively from our farm. Our family is extremely dedicated to this farm with everyone lending a hand to better our commitment of supplying a quality and safe product. The farm currently consists of approximately 70 acres of fresh vegetables and fruit trees. Our intent is to maintain and strengthen soil properties and viability for future generations. We are not certified organic; however, we practice many organic methods along with conventional methods. The ultimate goal is to create a line of products that have the homegrown taste while maintaining the sustainability of our farm. Our family has always consumed and preserved fruits and vegetables from our farm; therefore, food safety is a priority. We recently received GAP certification through the NC Department of Agriculture. We are NOT a “you pick” farm. All fruits and vegetables are pre-picked. You can choose from the many items available at our farm stand.

Canary Melon

Never had a canary melon? They're absolutely worth a try! In the same family as cantaloupe but we think even sweeter! Cut just like a cantaloupe, but with yellow flesh that has a bright, sweet flavor!

Cucumber, Pickle

Field-grown pickling cucumbers. These pickles are not just great for pickling, but are wonderful for just snacking as well! The have smaller seeds and have almost a sweetness to them! Sold by the pound.
